Who This Event Is For

This HYROX Simulation is for people who want to experience the full event format in a supported, coached environment.

You don’t need to be a competitive athlete.
You do need a base level of fitness and a willingness to show up and work.

This event is for you if you want to:

  • Understand what a HYROX event actually feels like

  • Test running and functional fitness together, not in isolation

  • Train within a clear, structured format with proper flow

  • Take on a challenge with a partner beside you

  • Gain clarity on pacing, transitions, and station order before race day

Whether it’s your first simulation or part of your race prep, this event gives you a clear benchmark to work from.

This is about preparation, not placement.

What to Expect on the Day

This event is run as a structured HYROX Simulation, with clear flow, clear standards, and coaching support throughout.

You’ll arrive, warm up, and be guided through the full simulation with your partner from start to finish.

On the day, you can expect:

  • Assigned heat times so you know exactly when you’re starting

  • A warm-up area before your heat

  • Clear briefing on standards, flow, and transitions

  • Judges to guide reps and movement standards

  • A supportive environment with coaches present throughout

  • A smooth, organised flow from station to station

You’ll move through the full HYROX simulation format together, sharing the workload with your partner and working within the structure provided.


The goal is to complete the simulation, understand the format, and take clear learnings into future training or race day.

  • You complete the simulation with one partner

Is this a race or a simulation?

This is a HYROX Simulation, not a competitive race.
The focus is on experiencing the full format, understanding pacing, and learning how the event flows.

Who is this event suitable for?

This simulation is suitable for people of all experience levels who have a base level of fitness.
Whether this is your first HYROX-style experience or part of your race preparation, you’ll be supported throughout the day.

Is this a singles or doubles event?

This is a doubles-only event.
Pairs can be same-sex or mixed.

What if I don’t have a partner?

You can still register.
If you don’t have a partner, we’ll pair you with someone of a similar expected finish time. Pairings are confirmed during race week.

How does the doubles format work?

Partners complete all runs together

Workout stations are shared using a You Go, I Go approach

You choose how to split the work at each station

You move through the entire simulation side by side.

Can I choose full or half HYROX?

Yes.
You can choose between:

Full HYROX Simulation: 8 × 1000m runs + all stations

Half HYROX Simulation: 8 × 500m runs + all stations

Both options follow the same structure, standards, and support on the day.

Do I need to decide full or half before the event?

Yes, you need to decide whether you will do full or half before the event. This will help us manage heats and station flow.

How are start times allocated?

Start times are assigned during race week once all entries are confirmed.
Heats run every 15 minutes with four pairs per heat.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your assigned start time.

What’s included with my entry?

Will the event still run if it rains?

Yes.
The event will proceed regardless of weather. All running is completed outside. There is no treadmill fallback.

What is the age requirement?

Participants must be 16 years or older.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable.
Entries can be transferred to another athlete if needed by 6th March, 2026
